Who we are

Our website address is: https://deeplevel.biz.
Deep Level is a publisher of useful micro apps, productivity tools, and lifestyle software.

We respect your privacy. We do not collect or store personal data for analytics, marketing, or tracking purposes. However, standard WordPress functionality and plugins may handle limited data as described below.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public next to your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract location data from images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience and last for one year.

If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie will determine if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we use cookies to save your login information and screen preferences:

  • Login cookies last for 2 days (or 2 weeks if “Remember Me” is selected)
  • Screen option cookies last for 1 year

If you edit or publish an article, a cookie will be saved indicating the post ID. It contains no personal data and expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, or links). Embedded content behaves just like visiting the external site. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, or track your interaction—especially if you have an account and are logged in to that site.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, it and its metadata are stored indefinitely to allow automatic approval of follow-up comments.

If you register on our site (if available), we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal data at any time (except username). Site admins can also view and edit that info.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of your personal data. You can also request deletion of any personal data we hold. This excludes data we must keep for legal, security, or administrative purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
